Platelet rich fibrin

What are the effects of the treatment?

Treatment with platelet-rich fibrin is an advanced regeneration method that stimulates the skin’s natural renewal processes. Fibrin, which is an autologous (patient-derived) material, acts as a biostimulator – it contributes to smoothing wrinkles, improving skin tone and elasticity, and reducing scars and discoloration. The effects of the treatment are visible after just a few weeks and can last up to 12 months.

Who is the treatment intended for?

Platelet-rich fibrin treatment is recommended for people who are looking for natural, safe methods of skin rejuvenation and regeneration. It is designed for patients who want to improve the condition and texture of the skin, reducing signs of aging, fine lines and wrinkles. It is an ideal method for both men and women who want a subtle but noticeable refreshing effect.

What does the procedure involve?

The procedure uses autologous platelet-rich fibrin, which is extracted from the patient’s blood. After the blood is drawn, the blood is subjected to a special process that separates the fibrin rich in growth factors. The material is then injected into selected areas of the face or body, acting as a natural stimulator that mobilizes cells to regenerate and restore the skin to a healthy appearance.

How will you feel after the treatment?

After the procedure, there may be slight redness, a feeling of skin tightness and mild swelling, which usually subsides after a few hours. Most patients feel comfortable during the procedure, and the regeneration process itself proceeds naturally. The effect of smoothing and nourishing the skin becomes more visible after about 2-3 weeks.

Contraindications and side effects

Every medical procedure, including aesthetics, due to its invasiveness, is fraught with the risk of side effects.
Patient safety and comfort are our priority, so we make every effort to minimize risks at every step and immediately and professionally counteract possible complications. Exact information about each procedure, its course, preparation and possible side effects, is discussed at the consultation appointment preceding the procedure.

Treatment with platelet-rich fibrin is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, people with active inflammatory skin conditions, cancer, blood clotting disorders, or autoimmune diseases.
Possible side effects include temporary redness, slight swelling or mild discomfort at the application site, which resolve spontaneously.

How often should the treatment be repeated?

For long-lasting results, a series of 2-3 treatments at intervals of about 4-6 weeks is recommended. Repetitions allow to deepen the regenerative effect and prolong the durability of the treatment.
